Here are some pictures of the 5 pieces I showed at survey on their handmade foam core shelves :)
My first project of the semester was a Brazilian Cosmetics Co., Beija (own name), that was eco-friendly and the cosmetics were made out of local flora.

Second project was for the made up, Con d’Oro (given) wine company in Valle Central, Chile.

I also showed my chocolate candy bar, FIXXX (own name)…as in get your fix.

Then there was my organic baby spa products, Petit Chou (own name).

Last but not least the finished Pasta Box, Presto! (own name)

How did you choose the names you used? Is there anything behind your choices? For example, “Beija” sounds beautiful, but the “DieLine” sounds terminal.
After doing some research into pretty Portuguese words I came up with beija, which is short for beija-flor (flower-kisser/hummingbird). The flower part is implied using the floral paper for the packaging. The floral paper is plantable, so when the customer is done they can plant the box and flowers will grow. I come up with the name of my projects based on the concepts behind the company or product, I try to keep these names out of the box. As far as DieLine is concerned, that is not the name of one of my projects, it’s the link on the side of the page to another blog with packaging by other designers.
